Designing on a Tablet

E-Portfolio Design

My project focused on overcoming geographical and financial limitations in Model United Nations (MUN) conferences by creating an online platform that simulates the experience of physical MUNs. This was particularly targeted at secondary school students who were keen to engage in international diplomacy but faced barriers due to location constraints. The core idea was to design a web-based application that would facilitate virtual MUN events, providing essential tools like a speakers list, chat application, and other features to allow seamless debate and collaboration.

Design: The platform includes a user-friendly interface, featuring a homepage with clear navigation to the tools, such as a chat application that simulates traditional note-passing in MUNs and a speakers list for tracking country speeches. It uses HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Python to create an efficient, visually appealing, and functional environment for participants and organizers, promoting global interaction without physical limitations.
